Can create but can't save an event - D365 Marketing

Hi all,

I am getting a persistent error when I try to save an event in D365 marketing.

I am able to create the event and configure all settings. When I click save I get the following error:

You do not have prvReadmsevtmgt_authenticationsettings permission to access msevtmgt_authenticationsettings records.

The system admin has checked and I have all the permissions relating to events and webinars enabled against my role.

Any ideas why this is happening? I presume it is just a permission that isn't enabled but I can't for the life of me work out which permission it's referring to!

TIA!

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Reuben,

Try to check whether you have sufficient read privilege to Authentication Settings entity.

Also, you can validate if this is genuine issue by assigning a standard out of the box role (without any changes). that will confirm that the issue is due to missed privileges as part of your customizations

That solved it - the authentication setting.

    Thanks for the help all!
