Credit Note Reason Not coming on Sales Order & Sales Line

Dear All,

We are using the credit note button on the sales order to create the credit notes for materials which are return, however we are facing an issue with the reasons for the credit note not flowing on the sales order header and lines due to which once the credit note is posted we are unable to find the actual reason for the credit note.

    Hi Binit Shah,

    The return reason field is not available in the sales line table. In the sales table you have the field available, yet it is not automatically filled with the reason code you select in the credit note form.

    If you want to see it at the sales order / line Level you would have to make a System adjustment.

    Note: At the time you post the credit note you can identify the reason Code from the ledger voucher created in the General Journal Entry table.
