Just to be clear, you are looking for a way to 'delete' a batch remotely from outside GP2015 application.

    Is that correct?

There is no such schema to delete the batch using econnect or web services.

    Hello Aissam

This is a typically controversial topic to be discussed when it comes to integrating "delete" transaction type

From a technical perspective, it is absolutely doable regardless of the fact that there is no eConnect schema for deleting transactions. Although ,why would you build an integration for deleting journal entries ?

Building an integration between two systems means that there is a specific business case requiring transactions to be migrated from one system to another, such as migrating sales transactions from POS machines, recording deferral transactions as derived from your expenses system ...etc. In your case, you are automating the process of deleting journal entries, then why they have been imported at the very first place ?

The bottom line is, It is not recommended to automate a process of deleting batches on a database level, regardless of the fact that is is definitely doable.

Looking forward to hearing from you

Yep, i agree with you Mahmoud, the problem that sometimes my accounting department want to reverse transactions(Delete) for x reason.

Our business process is each batch represent one transaction, by the end of month sometimes by error some one from another apps(Home made) insert a transaction, i don't want to keep that in my SQL table, just adding store proc to pass value of batch num, batch source, and which trx in my apps.

    Well Aissam Ait Kacem

Apologies for the encountered delay in response, it is definitely a plus for me that we do agree and have a common background.

This has to have a business-level resolution, it is definitely not a technical matter that you have to worry yourself about.
