Team Member License using Whse. Item Tracking Permission Error

I have a user on team member license that will access the item tracking lines in Warehouse Shipment and Receipts. They will not delete or add item tracking lines. Even when they do not do anything (just open and close the item tracking line page), they will encounter the error below every time the page is closed. I have checked the effective permissions and neither Delete nor Indirect Delete permission are assigned to the user as well. What could be the cause for this error message to pop up and how to resolve this?

One or more errors occurred while closing the page.

Your license does not grant you the following permissions on TableData 6550 Whse. Item Tracking Line: IndirectDelete.
I have the same question (0)

Team members license allows 15 table limit and it allows to read all tables  .  There is no other specific permission allowed .

    Addtionally ,
Please note below three tables are always read  while performing  Sales ,Purchase transactions since Navision journey to Business Central . We used to get the error for below three tables . Ensure you assign read permission

    1) Manufacturing setup
    2) Base Calendar

    3) Marketing Setup in case of Sales Transactions

    Hello,

you can either grant IndirectDelete via a custom permission set, avoid opening this page with a Team Member license, or upgrade the user to an Essentials/Premium license if they need warehouse and item tracking functionality regularly.

It is recommended to grant the user super privileges first to rule out permission issues.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

This happens because opening the Item Tracking Lines page creates temporary warehouse tracking records, and closing the page triggers an automatic cleanup. That cleanup counts as an Indirect Delete, which a Team Member license cannot do.

Even if the user doesn’t delete anything, BC deletes temporary tracking lines in the background → Team Member lacks IndirectDelete on table 6550 → error appears.

    Fix
Give the user a permission set with:
TableData 6550 – Whse. Item Tracking Line → IndirectDelete = Yes
This does not allow deleting real tracking lines, only allows BC to clean up temporary data.
