How to change the Display Name of a sitemap

Hi All,

In our Dev environment, the sitemap is called Dev - UCI.

I included the sitemap into a solution which we exported from Dev and imported to our Test environment. This has overwritten the sitemap in Test, so now we have a sitemap names Dev - UCI in Test.

Is there any way to change the Display Name?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

I think you can export the solution again and edit the Solutions.xml, change the display name and re-import it.

    Hi Parker,

Could you please try edit it from Advanced settings>My Apps and App design?

    Hi,

is it unmanaged or managed solution you have imported to Test environment?

Have you tried changing Sitemap again in Dev instance and import the solution to Test Environment?

    Hi Bipin,

    It's an unmanaged solution.

The problem is I can't work out how to change the display name for the Site Map - from any environment.

In the Site Map Design Editor, there isn't an option to change the name......

    Hi Meguan,

I'm not trying to change the name of the app. I'm trying to change the name of the site map.

    Note the name differences here:

When I open the site map editor, the name of the site map doesn't appear to be editable from there.

    Hi Satish,

I had a look in the solution.xml and it only references the schemaName for the site map, not the display name.

Would there be somewhere else that you can think of that may contain the display name?

found it! the reference was in the customizations.xml file as a LocalizedName
