Write in Product - not appear in opportunity line item window- security problem

Hi,

Write in product is not displaying in opportunity product line item window as shown in second screen.  I found this issue related to security role.  when I assign sales manager role then user can view both Existing product and Write in Product.  But when I change to sales person role, user can view only Existing product.  So Kindly let me know what security access I have to give sales person also get both options.  Please help me to find solution.
