Security Privileges for Editing Working Hours

Hi CRM World,

I am facing this problem since 1 month. We are already in production but we still could not achieve this.

What are the security privileges required to edit work hours for any CRM users? My manager needs security privileges to edit the work hours of remaining users in our organization. What are the security privileges required?

    Hi Badrinath,

That sound good. Thanks a lot Brother for your help. Please do let me know once after you have replicated the same scenario on your end.

The above link you provided makes sense but i guess it is more appropriate when while impersonating a person in plugin. How are we gonna impersonate a security role? Is it possible?

    Hi,

"My manager needs security privileges to edit the work hours of remaining users in our organization. What are the security privileges required?"

I believe you are trying to modify the work hours of other users for that you need to have System admin access. Else you can try to impersonate user. The above solution is update user's own calendar. May be I will try to replicate the scenario at my end later today.

    Hi Abby,

We dont have any teams/BU. We are a single organization as a whole without any hierarchy.

Moreover, i did give all the miscellaneous privileges on creating/read/write/delete own calendar. The surprising element is my manager is not even able to edit her own calendar.

    Hello Chakkay,

Can you please check whether your manager has appropriate team/bu/organization create/write permission over Calendar entity?

Also check the miscellaneous privileges on creating/write own calendar:

In addition try to create new security role with copy of  System Administrator security  role and remove the privileges from new roles as per your requirement  . I hope this  will helps you to edit working hours using custom security roles .
