The Email Configuration is the way of send and receive emails on Dynamics 365.

On the bottom of the page you can find the possible scenarios of integration between Dynamics and email providers. Within each one you can find the configuration and explanation for each parameter that you need to have in consideration to send and/or receive emails for mailboxes.
