AX client is not working for one specific user

Hi All,

One of my client is facing strange issue with one user. This user is unable to get AX client session when its opening AX client through his personal machine (this machine is on same domain/network, ping is working, connection is fine, installation& configuration correct).

We have tried same user and open AX client with same user directly on server and its working fine there.

Strange thing is that if we open AX client with different user i.e from admin then its working fine from his machine as well.

Can anybody tell me how we can resolve this?

    Hi Hassan,

can you check the status of the user into Online Users in system administration.

It could be as well the AX.auc file corrupted, I would give it a try navigating to %localAppData% for the user and deleting the .auc file.

    Thanks,

    Regards

    Hi F.G,

    Thanks for the response.

Yes, we have deleted those files as well. We have even re-install AX client as well but no luck.

check the SID value in the dbo.usersinfo table in MicrosoftDynamicsAX database.

You can get the current SID value by running this in command prompt:

    whoami /all

Check the current SID against the one in the table and if its different then update the table.

We have deleted all users and added again but it did not resolve our issue.

Let me check this as well.

    Hi Hassan,

This is very weird. If the user can login on the server, the SID should be OK. can this user access client using another client computer or only on the server? Do you have multiple domains in your environment?
