Import a CSV on D365

I am importing a General journal on D365 with 70+ lines.

How would I do this as a data import rather than manually typing each single line?

Which D365 product are you using? The D365 brand covers quite a few things, such as Finance and Operations, Business Central or Customer Engagement.

I think you can use the Data Management Framework (DMF) or OData entities

I am using D365 finance and operations.

I will look into the DMF and ODATA entities. Thanks

Moved from Integration, Dataverse, and general topics forum.

An import project Data management sounds like the right tool for your requirement.

Adding to the other answers here, you could:

    - Create a DMF project to import a CSV, for one-off or ad hoc manual imports
    - Create a recurring integration, technical but worth the effort if it is recurring
    - Use the Open in Excel functionality on your Journal batch, as you already mention you are "keying in" you may wish to paste the lines straight into Excel, could be the quickest way for your scenrio

    Hi,
As it is mentioned, the Data Management Framework is the appropriate standard tool for this purpose.
