Regular Newsletters to mixed audiences (Leads & Contacts)

Dear Community

our Marketing teams sends out a number of weekly and monthly newsletters.
The audience consists of both, clients and prospective clients. So far, outbound marketing was used with a contacts-only approach.
Now we are about to transition to Real Time Marketing with the ability to better work with leads.

However, how do you send out the same recurring newsletters to leads and contacts without recreating the Email and the journey?

Does anyone have any idea or best practice?

Thanks and best regards
Sascha

    Hi,

    According to the official documentation.
You can import outbound emails into the Real-Time Journeys module.

For the journeys of the outbound marketing module.

    Hi Sascha,

I am afraid it is currently not possible to send an email to contacts and leads in the same journey. I had the same discussion about this last week. A journey can be either only for leads or only for contacts. Also emails that contain personalisation are only for one of the groups. You have to duplicate the email and journey to send it to leads and contacts. But then you will also face the issue that you might have leads and contacts with the same email. Then they will receive a duplicate email because the duplication does not work in two independed journeys.

In my case we keep using the contacts-only approach.

    Hope this helps
    Pauline
