Delete managed solution

Hi,

I have installed a managed solution which has some changes in the existing component as well as new components.

But later I was asked to revert this as this has to be done in other environment and not to this. If I delete this solution, what will happen ? Else, prior to delete this do I need to ensure anything ?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Anandhcrm & ChananSandal,

When you delete a managed solution, the following data is lost: data stored in custom entities that are part of the managed solution and data stored in custom attributes that are part of the managed solution on other entities that are not part of the managed solution.

    Hello,

If the solution has been modified after it was installed, then the changes will be lost when the solution is deleted. If you have made any customizations to existing components, you should make note of them, so you can reapply them if necessary.

Additionally, if there are any data that were added by the solution, you should also be aware that this data will also be deleted when the solution is uninstalled. So you may need to take a backup of that data as well.

It is also important to make sure that the solution you are deleting is not being used by other dependencies so that you can avoid errors or issues while uninstalling the solution.
