My customer wants to access their NAV environment(NAV Client 5.0) through iPad or any other mobile equipment. Do we have any solution or method to support it?   Many thanks!

I can connect using an Ipad & iphone using RDP app.

    http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/remote-desktop-rdp/id288362053?mt=8

If you're looking for more than that then have them search the App Store for "Dynamics Nav" & see what shows up.

    Example:  http://itunes.apple.com/is/app/dynamics-go/id509165569?mt=8

Also, look at a Web Client - you'll probably have to upgrade your executables to the latest version::

Many thanks for your kindly support!

Since NAV 5.0 hasn't any Middleware(IIS or webserice). Must I need below options:

1.NAV 2009 SP1 to make full use of the Web Services Functionality.

    or

    2.

NAV 7 ( You can then use your iPad to browse NAV functionality using a web browser).

Hi Ji, and sorry for the delayed reply.

    NAVmobile can work with NAV5 , NAV2009 SP1 and NAV7.

The solution contains the bits to make the communication between the mobile devices and NAV possible. You will only need to have IIS6 installed on the machine, where our solution is deployed.

You will also need NAV Application server.
