CRM 2015: Solution import problem

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi all,

we did a Re-deployment of our Test System for our Master Customizing System. After we did some customizing, we want to import a solution on our Test System.

The import fails with following error message:

    Hi Nithya,

I could import the solution on our Test System. However, this is not the best way to do deployments in the future.

We cannot manually edit the solution to conduct a solution import on Test or PRD.

Do somebody have an idea how we can set the Display Names within a solution?

In this case for attrribute "AccountId" and "ContactId".

    Thanks, regards,

    Karan

    Hi Nithya,

now I can import it also on our Test System. But the strange thing is, that after exporting the same solution out of our Customizing Master System. The DisplayNames are still empty!

I took a look to the Updates on our Customizing Master Server. I've seen, that we have another version installed than on the Test System. I will install Update 0.1 on our Customizing Master System as well, to check if the Display Names will stay empty.

    Regards,

    Karan

    Hi Nithya,

I was able to import the solution on our DEV system after I've adjusted the customization.xml.

Now i'm trying it on our target system. I will let you know about the result.

    Thanks for the first!

    Regards,

    Karan

    Hi Karan,

The issue may be because of one of your language translations. Refer the community thread below.

    HI,

either you can delete Dependencies of opportunity or you can add all the dependencies of this.

    Then Publish and Import It
