No they are not, The ActivityPointer is a collection of all activities - These activities could have their own Statecode

As you may already know, when creating an activity such Email, Phone Call, an Activity (activitypointer) record is also created. In other words, for each activity, there are two records in CRM.

Below are the StateCode values of Activity (activitypointer) Entity.

StateCode
0 : Open
1 : Completed
2 : Canceled
3 : Scheduled
Below are the StateCode values of Email Entity
