Receipt alignment in Epson POS printer

Dear All,

 

We are trying to setup a thermal printer(Epson TM-T82) with OPOS driver. However there is always an empty space on the right edge of the receipt. We have tried to change the layout from Printer preference but no luck. And if we try to move a field to the right it will not print

Any ideas or suggestion anyone please? Thanks

    Hi Rutvik M,

    The maximum characters for single POS receipt line is fixed, 55 characters per line.

    From your photo, I couldn't tell if your receipt shows all 55 characters. If yes, this is expected.

    But if the line on your receipt is cut off and show less than 55, that might be wrong.

    Hi Juliet,

    We can reduce the characters if that is the issue. But we want the printing to be done on the center of the page with equal spacing on the edges of the receipt and that should resolve our issue. It just looks bad if there is too much spacing on either side of the page.

    Center alignment is what we are looking for

    Hi

    We have already resolved it. In Epson Printer utility I increased the width to 80mm. Now I am able to shift the columns to right and there is no empty space.
