Add custom filtering to the Dashboard views

Hi,

Is it possible to add the custom filtering to the dashboard views?

I have read some posts that mentions that custom filtering is possible in the subgrids by adding xml in the retrieve multiple plugin but not sure if it is possible to do it in Dashboard views.

Please advise is there any approaches to make custom filter possible in the dashboards?

Hi JeevanJ,

In general, when adding sub-grid views to a dashboard in the Unified Interface, it appears the 'Filter By' option is greyed out for columns.

One way is that clicking see all records, then we can filter by the column.

Or you can enable ‘filter by’ of the sub-grid when it exists in dashboard if you add editable grid controls.

Clicking 'edit components' to add editable grid controls, just like following screenshot.

Hi Leah,

I am looking something similar as below for the custom filters but this seems to be possible when there is a subgrid placed at the form level and not on the dashboard. Please advise if there is any way to achieve using the custom options
