Custom one off products

Hey,

I wanted to ask a question related to creating one off products in d365 F&O. The client is in a situation where they create one off custom apperel products ( for example: A custom t-shirt) for a brief period of time and then they stop making that completely. Is there a way that D365 can handle this without making a different item all together? The base would be the same but the design would change for it. We were thinking of using a custom variants on a base product but I am not sure if that would be a possibility or how that would affect other asspects of the system. I am new to the retail side so wanted to see if there is a good option for doing this in d365.

Hi Nakib,

It is possible to use the variants (e.g. use the Style dimension), however, the list might grow and there might be situations where it will be helpful, but also cumbersome to use it. Think of maintaining prices, viewing on-hand.
