Just access periodic as shown below

taking in your consideration posting profile for value model for every fixed asset group

    Hi benjamin84,

What do you mean exactly be re-class to a new COA?

Once you started with AX and recorded a transaction, you can't change/switch the COA that is associated with a company.

Would be great if you could clarify.

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi,

The form you show is used for transferring fixed assets from one financial dimension to another one. Because AX creates postings when doing that you are able to specify an account.

The feature does, however not do a transfer between a COA.

Do you have more details what the user plans to do?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

yes thank you for your explanation.

my user plan to reclass Office equipment (tangible ) to Intangible Assets.

Do I use Fixed assets > Periodic > Reclassification for this or I create new group office equipment with type intangible  ?

    Thanks you

    Hi Ludwig,

based on article about reclassification i have read.

its only change the fixed asset group.

what my user want is :

my user have create main account for software ( total type )

and create 2 main account too for the sot of aquisition and depreciation for the software.

for example our fixed asset that already registered.

for the cost of aquistion and the depreciation, my user want to use that brand new created two main account above.

do my user got wrong understanding about reclass FA ?

its is doable to change the coa we use to some fa ?

or its already linked/associates with the coa we use at purchase order/ requisition.

when create fa and check fa group, i cant find the linking with coa.

    thank you
