Hello all,
We have a code which opens a record in a new tab on click of ribbon. We are shifting now to dynamics and we want the record to open in new session inside of dynamics instead of new tab (As dynamics now has options to open record in session inside same app)
Is there any JS code which we can write for achieving the same?

Have you tried using the App Profile manager API?
Within the APM you can create a new session via the Microsoft.Apm.createSession() function.

Further Update.
I was able to achieve the scenario by setting options value when usin xrm.navigations (openinnewwindow = false). It will open in new session inside dynamics rather than new tab in chrome.
There are still 2 issues left with this.
When having a loop which has more than 1 form it just opens one of the form in new session and other gets missed
When trying to open an URL using OpenUrl of xrm.navigation i cannot give the option to openinnewwindow. So opening an url is still now possible with this approach
If anyone has any solution it will be helpfull

I also have a requirement where i can open an url in a new tab inside dynamics but cant get it to work witg createtab or create session as they take entity reference.
What can i use for that purpose?
