B2B Commerce - B2B Account functionality

Hi all,

I have set up an Adventure Works B2B website and have onboarded a B2B customer. However, when the customer is logged in, the following B2B functionality is missing:

- the ability to create order templates

- ability to quick order

- ability repeat order

- Functionality missing from My account:

- Adding/ Managing new organisation users

- Managing order templates

I have followed all the appropriate documentation but I am struggling to understand why the B2B features are not available. On site builder, all the appropriate modules are configured.

Any help would be great, thank you.

    Hi,

First step would be to check and confirm-

    1. The customer type on the channel in HQ is set to B2B, if this is not the case, you will have to remove and recreate the channel.

    2. Site type in site builder (Site settings -> General) is set to business to business.

Hi Jeevan, I can confirm that both these are set to B2B

Couple of additional things you can try -

    1. Confirm the address book on the channel setup, it is needed for customer sync to channel DB.

    2. Confirm that the once the prospect has been approved, both Org customer and personal customer are created (1 B2B prospect splits into 2 customer entries once approved). You should be able to the customer Hierarchy with one admin role.

    4. Both Org customer and Personal customer have the address book.

    5. Both customers are synced back into channel DB before the AD B2C account is created. Sometimes, you could create the account before the customers are synced which will create new AD B2C customer and log you in customer but is not attached to the Org customer.

    6. In the above case it's better to delete the customer from AD B2C and try to recreate the account once the sync is complete.

    7. Lastly, confirm the email address you are using to sign up vs email on the customer/prospect.

Thank you Jeevan for your suggestions. I can confirm all are fine but I shall need to investigate your point 5 and 6 in more details.

I was in the same boat. I missed enabling the below feature"Local Identity Record and Commerce Customer automatic linking.". If it is not enabled, enable it and do an incremental sync of 9999.

    1. Create a new B2B request and approve the prospect.

    2. Push 1010 to the channel DB.

    3. Try logging in with the email address you made the prospect request (who will be the organization admin) with.

    4. You should see all options.

It sounds like you've set up an Adventure Works B2B website and onboarded a B2B customer, but you're experiencing some issues with missing B2B functionality. It can be frustrating when things don't work as expected.

    Hi,

Can you check the Microsoft site builder, the My account page you have created. Please sure you have added fields for order history, Order templates etc.

Once added please save and publish page.

Then on website on My account page the related option should be displayed.

    Please confirm if this works.
