Production order PRD/000169 could not be scheduled. Not enough capacity could be found

Hi Experts,

Production order created base on configuration line(Product Configurator). I have found that based on filter (Product configurator) getting error Operation 90 "Production order PRD/000169 could not be scheduled. Not enough capacity could be found"

I applied filter which is not including specific operation 90 then it's goes smoothly.

The operation 90 is similar to other operation. I do not know why I am getting error for operation 90.

Hello Faiz,

Can you check below setups?

1. Make sure you define proper run time, process quantity & Hours/Time for that route.

2. Check weather resource allocate to that operation have proper calendar define. Your resource must be part of any resource group. That resource must have calendar attached to it. and Calender must have proper working time defines.

Let me know if that works for you or not? If it's not get resolved. Can you share some snapshot of current setup?

Hi Krunal,

Thank for detail information sharing.

The Production order created from Product Configurator. If have condition (NUT_Coating_Type == "Durabolt") then the routes which have this condition not coming in Route Journal in Production Order and giving error Operation 90 "Production order PRD/000169 could not be scheduled. Not enough capacity could be found"

I am new in Production. The new operations which I created by reference of existing operation. Operation 90 is created by me.

I have checked all operations are linked to Resource Group and Working calender but all operation dn not have Run time. You can find more details in below screen shots.

Hello Faiz,

Run time is important for all operations to book resource hours. So can you define some runtime in all operations?

I suggest to enter 1 in runtime for all operation and just do one test. So you can get some more idea.

(i.e As per your screenshot you define Hour/Time=1 which means all mentioned number are in hours. Now if you define 5 in Runtime it means it will take 5 hours to process 628 qty)

Generally this error comes when resource don't have enough capacity (Defined on resource production calendar and run time on route).

I faced the same error may time and every time that was the root cause of the error.

Hi Krunal,

Issue has been fixed. In operation 90, there same Primary , Secondary and have same Resource Group.

After assigned different Resource Group. Error disappeared.
