Dynamics CRM Online -Starting from a Blank Slate

I have a dynamics crm online and I would like to develop brand new xRM solution without sales/marketing etc. that I already have.

My question is, can I delete these out of the box solutions that Microsoft provides (or hide is also ok) and just want to use dynamics CRM platform to develop my solution .

This may be a silly question but I am not familiar with nitty gritty of CRM yet.

Hi,

It's not a silly question - Microsoft CRM is database made easy. I implement CRM frequently for people who have no use for those records.

You can't delete system entities, but you can take them out of the ribbon using the xRM toolbox (github.com/.../XrmToolBox). You can hide them from the advanced find if you want to, by setting up a security role and removing permissions for those entities. Then add all your users to that role.

Hello,

You can hide Sales/Marketing using SiteMap Editor tool from XrmToolbox from application navigation and you can remove privileges on OOB entities using roles.
