Hi there,
I’d like to create a view under Queue Items to display all the items in any Queues whose Owner User belongs to a specific Team.

Yes, You can go to Settings >> Customizations >> Customize the system >> Entities >> Queue Items >> View
You can create a new view from here.

I had to escalate this to our developers to look into
below is a response from MS Support

I managed to research this further yesterday.
Interestingly I found nothing more until I went looking for the link to offer for “Product Suggestions”.
I figured that due to the number of blog posts out there, someone would have already raised the issue as a Product Suggestion.
So this is what I found -
connect.microsoft.com/.../allow-teams-to-be-sent-emails
and 14 people have voted for this, so I would suggest you and your colleagues who have similar issues add to this number!
So in finding this I also found that someone had posted one workaround - And it was not the one I expected to see but:
“The current work around would be to use the queue associated to the team. Queues can be assigned an email address, which can be an exchange distribution group. If you need to send via workflow, create a queue item, and then send email.”
