I finally got a report to run that would list all the inventory items, sorted by group using the Generic Description field in which a number is entered to designate a group, and with the Quantities on hand showing the Level 1 Selling Price.
My problem is that not ALL the items are being listed on the report. I made sure that all the criteria has been met in the Item Master.
Is this a fluke or am I missing something?

I have been trying to understand the steps outlined here. I have:
opened the Report.
Click on the Tables button
Item Master is listed, only option is to click on the New button.
Highlight Item Quantity Master and Ok or Open are available. OK takes me back to the Table list and the Open option takes me to the Table Definition box (which takes me to a Table Definition box)
You do not show this step/Box in your sample. I cannot get to the Table Relationship Definition box which lists the Item Master as the Primary Table and Item Quantity Master as the Secondarry Table.
What am I not seeing ?

I am sorry but I cannot figure out how to get to the Item Relationship window. I understand what you are doing and how you are doing it but I cannot get there !

I have 5 price list levels and only want to show Level 1
Some of the tables were there when I duplicated the file and added tables to get the info I needed. I duplicated the report and used only the tables you listed above and the report gave me an error message.
All I want this report to show is
Generic Item Description (contains the item group number) - Report has a Restriction > =1 and
Report sorts on this field
Item Number
Item Description
Qty On Hand
Price List Level 1 (can be $.00) Restriction Item Price List.PriceLevel = 1

Boy, way different than a ho-hum price list. There are several layers here - which is fine, I just need to understand the restrictions. Since I think you only want an item to appear on the report once, we need some restrictions. We may have too many tables. Since you start with the item master, one of your lower tables is limiting the list. I can certainly see how that can be.
Item MSTR includes all items grouped by generic description
Item Currency Mster - you have that restricted to a specific currency, good
Item Price List Options is a puzzler. What are you getting from the Price List Options table? Does everything have price list options?
Item Price List You can link this directly to the Item Currency Master and skip the price list options.
Item Price List Details - What are you getting from this table? I imagine everything you would want about current pricing would be in the Item Price List table.
Let me know what you think, maybe we can simplify this and get you a better answer.
