Hi All,

I have a scenario.

I have crated project , and subproject of the parent both are in in process state. Then assign the budget to the parent.

In the child project under the budget control tab.

mark “Use alternate project budget for budget verification and assign alternate project as parent project.

Setup the option project management and accounting parameters ->cost control tab -> cost commitments->purchase requisition is set to YES.

Create one purchase requisition with sub project , then submit and approve.

But the commit cost did not apply against the parent budget allocation.

Can you please guide me is there any other setup. with i need to do to achieve this.

Regards,

Srinivas

    Hello Srinivas,

Which AX2012 version do you operate?

In case you operate an older one, have you already checked the available hotfixes on LCS?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello Srinivas,

This seems currently a bug for which no hotfix has been created yet.

    Please refer to

Issue 3977915Alternative budget (Committed cost from PR) is not shown in Budget commitment

on LCS. You can setup a notification there once a fix is available.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
