I am trying to help a friend out and I am not sure if it is the software or hardware. We have not been able to use the receipt printer since last month due to the continuous printing of the Z report. If a receipt is printed, it prints just fine but all of a sudden the Z report starts printing over and over. It is the same report for the same day. Anyone able to help on this subject?

I have tried this twice and it still shows that the Handshaking Operation is Off Line or receive buffer is full.
That sounds like a hardware issue. Try clearing the printer buffer by performing a self-test.
A self-test is typically accomplished by powering off the printer, holding down the paper feed button, turn printer back on, then let go of feed button when printing starts.
A self-test diagnostic report should print. This also clears the buffer.
If the printer has no power button try lifting the lid for Off, hold down feed button, then close the lid for On.
Never changed any properties. Was printing fine before. All of a sudden it just keeps printing. We have to turn off the printer to make it stop. Same Z report multiple times.
Mabuhay! Did you edit receipt template (Report Tab on Receipt Format Properties)? If its printing over and over again just for the z reading i think that would be one cause? By the way, our z reading prints about 1 meter long and we disable after that so we can save paper.
