Was blindsided today on a PR\HR presenentation because the client had asked on how GP2013 handles PA Act 32 and the setup configuration. (I am in Michigan and was not up to speed on the laws in Pennsylvania.) I don't think there is anything special I need to look at, other than having a lot of local tax codes to define. If there is anything that I need to be aware of, I would appreciate it.
Thank you.
Doug

Thank you
If their home residence is in PA, you'll have to take out PA local taxes. The employee can let you know what locality they live in. We have them set up as Local Tax codes in GP 2013.
My client has employees residing in 30 different states. The employees will either do consulting from their homes or at different times will also travel for lengthy periods of time (work on a project for 5-6 weeks).
You would only be concerned if you have employees living in PA.
