Dynamics 365 (8.2 or 9.0) compatibility with Sql Server 2017

Hi Experts,

Is Dynamics 365 compatible with Sql Server 2017 and which version 8.2 or 9.0 or both.

It is not mentioned in compatibility list, even list for D365 is not even published.  We have Sql Server 2017 available and would like to know the compatibility.

    Hi Saurabh30g,

    As of right now, Microsoft SQL Server 2017 is not compatible with these versions of Dynamics. You are best to stick with Microsoft SQL Server 2016.

    Hi Saurabh,

    For Dynamics 365 version 9, you can only use SQL Server 2016 SP2 (Enterprise, Standard or Developer).

    For Dynamics CRM version 8, you can use SQL Server 2012 SP1, SQL Server 2014 SP2 or SQL Server 2016 with CU2 (Cumulative Update 2).
