Hi all,
I have an issue. A user has settled a bill of exchange in 2 separate journals (by mistake).
Now, they need to protest one of those journals (or both), but D365 does not allow to protest a separately settled bill of exchange.
Does anyone can provide any idea how to register in D365 the customer debt? So that this loss can be taken to a loss account (629...)

There seems to be no mention of how to register customer debt in the relevant documents. I found the relevant information about reversal and protest bills for you. Hope it will be helpful to you:
