Job Registration workers to other legal entities Ax2012

Hi all,

I have 5 legal entities (companies) in AX.

different workers are hired in specific companies.

is it possible to get a worker from company A to make a job in a production of the company B. how can i set it up?

since the entities are in the same physical place. The workers are sometime forced to make jobs in other entities but still they are being paid from the company the are hired from

Hi Nestor,

I would expect that you setup the workers also as workers in the other companies, which can be achieved by making use of the employment history table.

Once that is done, you might have to check the resource setup in the OrgAdmin module to ensure that the resource configuration is correct.

let me see if I understand correctly

I can do same logic like with items: "release to another company"?

or I have to setup up the worker as he was a new person with a different Personnel number?

where is that employment history table. sorry that my questions may sound silly.

Hello Nestor C.,

In the employee form there is a tab called employment history.

There you can add your employee to other companies.

The personnel number will stay the same but the employee will become available as a 'new' resource in the other company once you link a calendar to this employee.
