Stopped (unrecoverable) Workflow Status: What is the origin of this error? How to correct it?

Hi Community

I am facing an error in the approval of the budget plan workflow in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations PROD environment:

Stopped (error): Unable to edit a BudgetPlanHeader record.
The record was never selected.

I tried to correct this by recalling the workflow instance, another error occured:

Stopped (unrecoverable): Incorrectly specified parameters

The workflow status is now unrecoverable and I don't have the possibility to Recall/Resume it.

Could you help please ?

Hi,

Are you able to get any further details from workflow history. Or aware of any changes in workflow design itself.

Hi, thank you.

The last update on the workflow configuration was done on 28/01/2021.

I have added workflow history details that I exported to EXCEL above (I've just hidden the names of the users). Please check and tell me if there is any solution to this?

Hi Mayouni,

It would be helpful if you can provide translations of the error messages. With some words, I think it is about not being able to update a specific record as it was not selected. And/or incorrect parameters are specified. Could it be the case that a specific budget plan was deleted somehow while the workflow instance was still running?

Error messages are already translated in the question description above. I set the system language to EN-US but these error messages were not translated as shown in the EXCEL export and I don't know why.

The budget plan is still in the list of budget plans. Error messages are already translated in the question description above. I set the system language to EN-US but these error messages were not translated as shown in the EXCEL export and I don't know why.

Hi Mayouni,

The error messages are now data stored in a table. Labels on forms can be translated but changing the language will not translate the data. For that reason, we asked you to provide a translation.
