Mobile Devices won't connect.

When using Microsoft Dynamics App on my Android or iPhone I get an authentication error. This occurs to all the users, but we never get the opportunity to type in our username and password. If I go to a web browser, even on the mobile device, I can log in.

Please help!!!

    Hi Steve,

    I was actually having a problem on my iPhone for the past couple of days. I removed the application 2 times and now the 3rd time I installed the application on the iPhone it worked successfully.  I was not having an issue getting to the login but for it to finish the configuration steps.

    Please try removing the application and re-installing and following through the steps again and see if that works.  It it doesn't try it 1 or 2 more times :)  Sorry, not a great answer but worked for me.

    The issue is that it isn't just mine, it is everyone that tries to connect with a mobile device. Is there some setting on the server that I need to set?

    Nothing on the server that I know of.

    Overall I had problems and the new one I am looking at is a new version.  I would definitely try to delete and reinstall (even though it should let you know to do this).  This might get working for one person and then you can go from there.

    Hopefully someone else has a better solution but this worked for me after a number of issues.

    Hi Steve,

    But has this ever worked for you on mobile? Or you just started to use mobile and you are getting this error? Is this On-Prem or Online? If it's On-Prem then it's probably bad IFD configuration, please enable Traces on server and check if there are no useful authentication errors that can help with the troubleshooting.

    I am assuming you have provided privilege 'CRM for phones' to all users.

    This is an On-Prem... Where would I find the Traces, I'm totally new to working with CRM? I'll google IFD Setup and try that.

    Hi Steve,

    You cannot use mobile app without configuring IFD, it is mean for CRM on-prem, for online its not required.

    AD Federation is separate, your windows server must be on domain.

    You will have to enable claim based authentication
