AIF Queue Manager Inbound status "In transport process"

My AifGatewayReceiveService for our '/SalesOrderService/create'  has been running daily for a long time. Apparently a 'glitch' caused inbound messages to be 'stuck' in the Queue with status of 'In transport process'. I cannot delete the entries and this is stopping any further inbound processing. How can I clear the Queue?
