Print OLE object in GP report(or crystal report...)

HI All

We have customers' signatures attached in service call management as delivery proof.

Is there way for us to print the signature on a report(GP or Crystal Report) together with the service call details?

It would be good to have it, coz sometimes customers ask for the delivery proof.

THANKS ALL

This will not be possible using standard GP report writer (even with VBA).

I doubt that Crystal will be able to open the OLE container file to extract the stored object either.  This requires complex coding.

    Hi,

Store the signature location in the database and pass the location to the OLE object which you placed in the Crystal Report.

In crystal report right click the OLE object -> Format Graphic - > Click Picture Tab -> Graphic Location

Pass the database field which stores the file location. It works well for me.

It is bit late reply but someone else might benefit.

    Thanks

    Leo
