Link multiple Management Reporter reports

Posted on by 75

HI Experts

How can we link the profit/loss from the Income Statement (IS) is linked to the equity section of the Balance Sheet (BS) in Dynamics 365 F&O? Following is the screen shot of the blog in which it's demonstrated:

    Hello Sajid,

What you can do as an alternative is enter a new line in the equity section of your balance sheet.

In this line you add all the income statement accounts that you have - for example by selecting the from and to fields. The result of that is that you always see the current profit in your balance sheet and make it balanced.

That is currently the only way how the linkage between the income statement and balance sheet can be made in D365FO.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello,

This is done usually in the balance sheet by adding up the GL account range that make up your net income. Adding up all the net income GL accounts range should be your net income

    Hi Thanks for reply

Then how we can link the net income statement in Balance Sheet ? I have tried to link it through the default dimension set but it does not calculate the net income as i have calculated in Income Statement.

    Best Regards,

    Sajid

    Hi Sajid,

My knowledge is that this linkage functionality is no longer available for D365FO systems.

I have not seen an official statement that it is completely deprecated but it is at least at the moment not available in D365FO.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
