'Assign to' not possible from list of records

I am gathering leads from my website and they are automatically moved to the CRM. On the lead form, I have a couple of required fields which my sales agents need to fill in.

When I want to change an assignment of the lead (on Lead entity) then I want to be able to do that from the list of records (default All Leads View). Right now I am getting the Business Process Error because some of the required fields are not filled. So I need to go to the specific lead form (separately), fill in the required fields and then from there, I can change the owner.

Is it possible to ignore somehow these required fields on the form when I am only trying to assign the lead to another owner?

Can you paste a screenshot of this?

I just assigned a few leads with mandatory fields not filled in to different users.

Is there any workflow/plugin being triggered on assign of Lead records?

    Hi,

when you assign the lead to new owner via list view, you get an error?

    - which method you use to assign? change the owner field? or use the assign button

    Hi,

Business Process Error generaly means that you have some custom logic which is running when the owner is changing of the lead. Check if you have any plugins/workflows registered on Leads. If yes, then review and find out if any of them is registered to trigger on owner change if yes then you can disable them ( not recommended) or check your business functionality around that.

    Hope this helps

You were right, one of the plugins caused this. Thanks for quick help!
