Another closing or adjustment has not finished yet

I am in the middle of something now. I was trying to recalculate inventory using inventory closing method but during the process unexpectedly the server got stuck and I had to restart the server. After restarting what I could see is a red color cross mark in closing and adjustment screen and it is not allowing to recalculated  further months. When I recaluclute next month the message coming is "Another closing or adjustment has not finished yet.

Tried to do resume and job says ended but when I try to recaulate again it gave me the same message

    Hi Ray K Soliman,

It is similar but it doesn't answer my question as I click recalculate or resume and it says ended but can't run another calculation.

Another closing or adjustment has not finished yet

So the job says ended under system admin but you can't rerun again as this is the error you get.

So the question is which tables or process can we remove this job from so we can recalculate the invnetory

    Hi Ray K Soliman,

Can you possibly post a screenprint of the message that you receive, the closing form and the log of the inventory close that you run?

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

Duplicate your Production environment into Test, and put a breakpoint into Classes\Info\add method. Try to run closing, and when the error message comes, your developer should be able to trace back what causes the error message to be displayed.

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg860898.aspx

Also inventory closings could be rolled back, have you tried that? https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg232180.aspx
