Issue with having multiple layouts in Reportlayout

Dear Community,

I am having an issue when I want to be able to choose between multiple layouts.

Suppose I want a specific layout for when I am sending a sales Quote for rental quotes and be able to choose another layout when the sales Quote is for an actual sale.

When I go to report layout page: Report Layouts (9660, List)  I can filter for report 1304 Sales proposal. I can then create a new layout and call it /Sale/ and choose the custom layout I've made in Word. I can then create another layout and call it /Rental/ and choose different custom layout.
//When I go to an open Sales Quote and try to print I am met by the following promt:
The issue is that when I pick Sale, I get the same layout as if I where to pick Rental. (Even though I've choosen two different layouts, when I created the layout)
//
Is this correct or am I missing something?

I have the same question (0)

I think the right way to do this is to add your new layout to using the custom layout page (9650). Can you please try that and see if that fix your issue?

Re-check if You really have different layouts uploaded to each of those.
Tested in standard - and it works as intended - the chosen report layout is printed.

You can tryout for those 2 default report layouts - rdlc and word - and You will see if You get different.

If those 2 work ok - then most probably issue is with the imported layout.
If those do not work as well - then check the Customer Document Layouts - if maybe there is a specific layout for him. It could be taken as primary and ignoring your chosen one.

    Dear KasparsSemjonovs,

I can confirm that there is no Customer specific layout.

I have just tried making two new blank word files just spelling out the word Sale and the other Rental - Twp different files. It is still only printing the word Sale even though i've choosen Rental. I've set Sale as my standard layout. When I choose Rental as standard layout then Rental is printed no matter what layout is pick. This confirms that two different documents are in fact uploaded.

Do you mind checking table: 2000000234 and filter by report ID 1304 and maybe sharing what you can?

    Best regards
