Can't save Webhook registration using Plugin Registration Tool

Posted on by 5

I'm trying to create a webhook within a Dataverse environment using the Plugin Registration Tool and nothing happens when I click the Save button after entering in all the information.

Has anyone had issues like this before?  I haven't found any files in the tool that are being blocked.

This is issue with Plugin Registration Tool. I have faced the same issue. But once you click on "Save", it would have registered already in the background. you can close the dialog and refresh the assembly list to check if its added.

It might look like it doesn't save, but it did for me. It did not give me any confirmation message on my end. Just make sure you have the parameters correctly and the endpoint URL string is only up to ".../triggers/manual/paths/invoke". Might be tricky. Let me know if you need help or post a screenshot here.

I have this issue.  Trying to register a Service Endpoint to send messages to a queue.  When I press Save nothing happens.   The Endpoint appears in the Registration Tool but when I amend records in 365 it doesn't seem to be working.  Any ideas anyone?

Oops nevermind. I feel dumb now. I thought I already removed my parameters from the URL.

Also, my guy, Icarl14, it might look like it doesn't save (sometimes), but double check your list of plugins/webhooks. It might already be there.

I have the same issue now. Though I have an error message

Error message: "Url should be a valid http/https url with no query parameters."

Searched all over. Can't seem to find an answer.

    Hello Icarl14,

You can try with a different version of Plugin Registration Tool. Can be a problem with the version that you are using.

Thank you so much for the response.  I have done the steps to create the webhook using the HttpQueryString option and when I click the Save button, nothing happens.  I do get an error message if I haven't added any values and then click Save.  I've also noticed in the tool that when I click the gear icon in the upper right hand corner nothing happens as well.
