Execute deletion in DIXF(Data Management)

Hi experts,

I would like to import a deletion data from external system and to delete a linked data in dynamics 365.

In DIXF(Data Managament), imported data is always executed insert or update.

For external synchronize, when a data deleted in other system, we have to delete a data in dynamics to synchronize.

I found "DataEntityDatabaseOperation::Delete" in UnitOfMeasureEntity, but I wonder if it certainly executes correctly.

Could you give me any ideas, if you have ever tried this situation?

Hi O.Naga,

You cannot delete data using DMF only update or insert. DataEntityDatabaseOperation::Delete you referring to is a part of oData integration and is used by Excel Add-in for example. If you want to delete data you probably need to look at leveraging oData. Please refer for details https://ax.help.dynamics.com/en/wiki/odata-in-dynamics-ax-7/
