Hello Experts,

I open the management reporter report today to make some changes in the report, but the management reporter opened it gave me the message "S-1 is not a valid default base period for this company. The default base period has been changed to CUR". i am trying to change it back to the S-1 but the system is not allowing and giving the same message.

Can you please guide what can be the issue? for your reference following is the screen Just for your information our FY is JAN-DEC. we have created a new FY for 2021 but 2020 closing is not performed at the moment.

    Hi,

In your base year I can see the year 2017.

Do you have this year setup in all of your companies that you want to analyze?

The issue seems to your fiscal calendar & period setup.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello Ludwig,

Thank you for your reply. The system automatically changes the base year to 2017 after giving the S-1 Period. actually, i just had to update some rowset line with the non-print function, and opening the MR report gave this error.

Yes, the new year, means 2021 is created.

as per your direction, i rechecked the fiscal calendar and period setup and they are fine as only a new fiscal year was created, which was a copy of the previous fiscal year.

But while checking the base year list in the management report, the system is not showing the 2012 FY. a screen is attached for your reference. what can be the issue? should i have to reset the data mart? or there is any other process?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Have you already tried resetting your data mart?

There seems to be an issue with the data (year 2021) missing in the financial reporter and a data mart reset should be able to fix this.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello Ludwig,

Thanks for the reply, year 2021 auto appear in the management reporter. as the year was recently created and after that the MR was open for adjusting the report so this base year was not appearing.

As this is auto appeared then its means the datamart reset will work too.

    Thanks
