Is there a setting I change change that will stop the RMA module from creating inventory transfers and adjustments?

Hello,
There is not a setting that will turn off posting to Inventory for the return transfers and adjustments. If you do not want Inventory affected, you would want to use the repair and return RMA Type. This will mark the item as customer owned and would not affect Inventory.
