Transactions stuck in GL10000 and GL10001 Tables

We are on GP 10 sp5 10.00.1868.  We had a sales batch get interrupted during posting.  The transactions all made it to SOP history and inventory history and about half made it all the way into the GL20000 table.  The second half made it into the GL10000 and GL100001 and are stuck there with no batch to recover.  Has anyone seen this before and what would be the best way to get them posted to the GL?

Thanks,  Dave

Thank you for coming up with this solution. Just a further aside. If you wish to test this solution in a test company prior to applying it live you need to update the company ID in [GL10001].[INTERID] to the test database company id otherwise you will get InterCompany error messages and the batch will fail. Now if I could just find the gremlin that caused this glitch.

Following the suggestion I found the batch had been deleted.  I recreated the batch.  Ran batch reconcile and the remaining transactions were added to the batch and we were able to post.

    David,

First make sure that the user who posted the batch has logged back in to GP, it should find this stuck batch.  If it does not find it then check to see if you can edit the batch in GL Transaction Entry.  If you can then try and post it.  If not then the system may think that it is still posting the batch and you will need to release the batch.  For information on releasing a stuck batch go to here:
