Sales Order Tax Does not Sync between Business Central and Dynamics CRM with OOTB Integration

Hi

Using BC-CE integration we can sync SO created in BC into CE without any issue. But the tax amount in BC SO does not sync to CE. If we invoice the same SO then tax amount sync to CE but not from SO.

Does anyone else has the same issue? If yes how did you resolve it?

Thanks

    Hello MahGah,

Based on the information provided and based on what came back from product group, I created an internal request for hot fix. The fix is included in version 21.0.53743.0.

Hope that the fix will indeed do what it is supposed to do as I have not been able to look at it myself since it was created.

    Thank you.

    Hi Marco Mels

I truly appreciate you for taking time and testing this and opening ticket. I wait for the result if you do not mind.

That was my suspicious as well. But my thought was if we can insert tax manually in CRM and in Field Mapping we push those info into CE then CE should show the tax.

    Thanks again

    Hello,

You are of course right, but I think this is due to the way CE works. When I create the sales order from CE first, it does not take the tax information as well unless I manually specify it on the product line item. The tax field can be manually filled in with a value which update the Sales Order in CE.

Not sure how this is supposed to work from CE perspective so I raised an internal ticket for the product group.   As soon as I have an answer, I will post it here. Feel free to raise a ticket to your partner or CSP if you want to be kept automatically updated based on service SLA, etc.

    Thank you.

    Hi Marco Mels

This is in in standard without any customization. You even can replicated it

    1) Turn on OOTB integration between CE and BC

    2) In BC create sales order with line that has tax

    3) Sync to CE and noticed no tax populated

    4) invoice the same SO then sync and see the tax.

    Hello,

Are you able to reproduce this issue in standard without any partner customization?

    Thank you.
