WMS-Multiple pick steps with multiple products not allowing product confirmation on 2nd pick step.

Hi there.
I have a scenario where the team wants to pick stock and put it in a checking location and then have someone repick and put in dispatch. (Confirmation step)
I have configured everything and it works quite well when there is only 1 item. When 1 item, it allows you to scan the product and confirm it but when multiple products, it just shows a screen that shows "Multiple" and i am unable to scan each item.
On the 1st pick step, i am able to scan each product and put to the checking location but on the next pick, it doesn't allow it.
Am i missing some setup or is this how it is as standard?

Thank you!
I have the same question (0)

    Good day,

Could you share a screenshot of the mobile device menu item and the work confirmation?

Another question, is one work id for multiple items?

    Best regards,
    Laurens van der Tang

    Hi there,

There are multiple work IDs generated based on picking zone in the warehouse. So if there are multiple products on the order in the same zone, they will be on the same work ID.

    Thanks.

    Good day,

I believe it is only possible to get the product confirmation when you get a work id per item.

Could you set up a work header break on item number for the work template and try it again?

    Hi Laurens,

Thank you for the suggestion but if we had a work ID per product we would have over 300 work IDs generated for 1 order. This would be too much to action.

What i dont understand is that the 1st pick and put step allow me to confirm the product and quantity but the 2nd pick doesnt allow this.
I found this in an old article that might still be relevant.

    Here is my work template:

    Thank you.

    Hi

Yes, this is how it is in standard.

For the Pick in the second Pick/Put pair, you are most likely expected to scan the License plate Id and move all of the items at once. Why do you need to confirm each item again?

    Good day,

Than it is feature limitation. Regarding the confirmation for the first pick & put, does it work also in case of multiple items?

    Best regards,
    Laurens van der Tang

    Hi there,

The team would like to double check that the picking was done correctly - a double check.
Yes, the 1st pick and put work for multiple items.

    Hello

Could you kindly explain your current packing process? Are you using the Packing functionality, and upon closing the container, is it directly moved to the bay door, or is there an additional work step to move the container to the bay door?

    Option 1:

If it’s a one-step packing process, you can configure the packing policy to automatically create work to move the container to the bay door. So, during pack you can do the 2nd scanning or check

    Option 2:

Alternatively, you can modify the location directive to pick items from your CHECKING location and enable immediate replenishment from the actual pick location.

This way, Pick location to the checking location will generate replenishment work, followed by order picking work from the checking location to your final destination.

Just give it a try  and hope it will resove your issue .
