Hi everyone,

please clear me one thing, what is the best practices to install the hardware installer, should i go for installing on separate system then from MPOS, or can i install on the same system in which i already installed the MPOS.

What happened to me when i installed the hardware installer to same MPOS system, my MPOS getting stuck with below mentioned error.

It should not matter whether you install shared HS on the box which has MPOS or not. To find out why that error dialog is displayed please have a look into Event Viewer:

Microsoft->Dynamics->Commerce->Modern-POS->Operational

You will see there warnings/error which should give you more context.

To able to help you, please open an incident with microsoft support. The error you have is generic one so we need to check the telemetry data to identify the issue.
