Hi,
Is there anyway I can takeout $ sign, while printing cheques.

Assuming you are using the standard, out-of-the-box functionality, then yes, you can change the formatting via Report Writer.
1. Open Report Writer
2. Select the check format you use to generate your checks, i.e., Check with Stub on Top and Bottom
3. Double-click on the amount field that you are interested in removing the dollar sign from
4. Remove the current format
5. Assign a new format by clicking on the ellipses button and selecting the appropriate one. There are a number of Unsigned numeric formats you can experiment with until you find the right one that fits your needs.
