Dynamics 365 10.0.39 VHD doesnt had dynamics in event viewer

Hi all,

Dynamics 365 10.0.39 VHD doesn't had dynamics in event viewer like previous versions, i am doing AX 2012 R3 data upgrade and i can't see the synch logs anywhere, any suggestion please ?

Hi,

That is very odd indeed...

This is a screenshot from my 10.0.39 (Upgraded to 10.0.41) VHD.

It's just the normal VHD from LCS you have downloaded, right?

I can’t think of any scenario where this could happen—your machine is likely broken. I’d recommend recreating the machine based on the disk image you downloaded.

These machines should be treated as disposable, and it’s rarely worth the time to try and fix them.

Hi,

To add to what Jonas said, adding a few points:

1. Spin up a new VM and ensure these VMs are hosted on Microsoft Azure (if it is an On-Premise VM) or spin up a cloud hosted VM from Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS).

2. Dynamics LCS is the platform that is used to manage your D365 F&SCM Applications. Ensure you have atleast one Lifecycle Services project where your VM resides (irrespective of whether it is an On-Premise environment or a Cloud environment).

Hi,

I suspect you might me looking at the Event Viewer of the Bare metal server on which this VM is hosted.

Are you sure this is from the VHD Virtual machine?
