How to automate the emails for PO sending to vendor

Hi All,

How to automate the process of sending purchase order confirmations to suppliers once PO has been approved in below format:

/From Address: test@test.com
PO Attachment Name: Purchase Order number
Email Subject: PO *PO number*

Email Body:
Hi *Company name*

Please find the attached the approved PO./

Not sure from where to start, if customization required then from where I need to start, where we can add/modify the email template for the above design.

Please advice.

Hi,

You can refer to this blog: dynamics-tips.com, which explains how to configure email templates, and you can write your desired format into the template.

And you can set up a workflow to send an email to a vendor when a PO is approved.

Hi Kevin/Ramit,

When we are processing Payment advice, the email is triggering with old email sender, we wanted to update with the new email sender for payment advice, but we are unable to find the existing setups to update the new email sender, even tried i existing Organization email template but that is not reflecting when generating the payment advice.

Please advice where we can update the payment advice email sender.
